This personal project of Noel is a one-acre garden in Herefordshire, where English sensitivity meets contemporary German park style and the American prairie.
One of the aims for the garden was to achieve genuinely ecological planting with species intermingling seamlessly.
Experimentation this garden helped to test the idea, developed primarily in Germany, that it is possible to establish a community of plants using a variety of plant growth strategies to minimise gaps and therefore reduce weed competition.
